PUMA TRACKING

This experience takes place in specific areas of Torres del Paine where wildlife activity is highest, particularly around guanaco populations, the main prey of the puma. Throughout the day, the focus is not only on spotting animals, but on understanding them.

You’ll learn to interpret the behavior of guanacos, foxes, and birds of prey, reading subtle signals in the landscape that indicate predator presence. Weather, terrain, and natural rhythms all play a role in shaping what unfolds.

Rather than a fixed route, the experience evolves in real time, building towards the possibility of encountering the puma through observation, patience, and ecological awareness.
